Celebrate Dr. King's birthday with the Olathe Public Library Children's Department. Make and take a simple craft to celebrate the day. Come and go as you please. No registration necessary. |
January 8 - Afternoon Rush @ IC 3:30-6:30 pm - Indian Creek
Hey Olathe teens, looking for something fun to do after school? Join other teens in the large meeting room at Indian Creek Branch Library to play on our Nintendo Wii, Play Station 2, or use a laptop with internet access to play Runescape, check your MySpace/Facebook account, or work on school work. Ocasionally, new releases of movies that are rated G-PG13 will be shown. More information regarding films being shown will be posted on the teen website, teen blog, and in the lobby of Indaian Creek Branch Library on the day of the showing. Gaming and laptops will be available every time! You may also just come in to unwind, talk to friends, eat a snack, or work on school assignments. A librarian will be present to answer homework questions. This program is designed to be educational, creative, entertaining, and it’s FREE! Snacks provided. No registration required. See you there! Program is open to 7-12th graders only. |
